This Monumental Church was part of a Competition which main aim was channelling creativity in public spaces and buildings.
The main idea behind the project is deconstructing the usual model of a place of worship and turning it into a place where people can find a different type of connection with the diety.
The main axis serves as an expression of the ascending of the human soul to God through faith and worship. The horizontal servers as an expression of the transcending of the human form just body to soul. The project is intended as both an artistic and an architectural interpretation within the city landscape.
